PaxUnity exists to bring people together across cultures, backgrounds, and communities. This Code of Conduct applies to all individuals involved with PaxUnity — including volunteers, event attendees, board members, partners, and online community members.
Every person who participates in a PaxUnity space — in person or online — is entitled to be treated with dignity and respect. We do not tolerate behavior that demeans, excludes, intimidates, or harms others based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, immigration status, or any other characteristic.
We ask all participants to use language that is inclusive, kind, and culturally sensitive. Slurs, insults, or language designed to demean others will not be permitted at any PaxUnity event or platform.
Disagreements are natural in any community. When conflicts arise, we expect all parties to engage respectfully and seek resolution through dialogue. PaxUnity staff or organizers may be asked to assist in mediating disputes when necessary.
All members of our community are accountable for their actions. If you make a mistake, acknowledge it, learn from it, and do better. PaxUnity will also hold itself accountable to these same standards.
Volunteers and staff represent PaxUnity and are expected to uphold the highest standards of conduct. This includes arriving prepared, communicating professionally, and treating all participants with care and fairness.
The Code of Conduct applies to all PaxUnity online spaces including social media, email communications, and any digital platforms associated with PaxUnity. Harassment, trolling, or harmful behavior in online spaces will be addressed in the same way as in-person violations.

All reports are handled confidentially. Retaliation against anyone who reports a concern in good faith is strictly prohibited.
Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in a warning, removal from an event, suspension from future programs, or being permanently banned from PaxUnity spaces depending on the severity of the conduct.
PaxUnity is committed to continuously improving the safety and inclusivity of our spaces. This Code of Conduct may be updated as our community grows and evolves.
